It's The New Year

Happy 2010 - We are nearing the middle of January, hope everyone had a good new year. Well, here we go - projects, projects, and more projects. I have 3 WIP'S going along with some new jewelry I made. A new year treat from me to me ... :-) I knit a a beautiful bronze scarf, pic coming, and these pieces match perfectly. And to make the set all that more enticing, my sister knit a pair of matching fingerless gloves (pic coming soon). Now that I have my scarf and gloves and jewelry, I need a special place to go! New Jewelry

I get so wrapped up in my knitting or crochet, I forget about my love for creating jewelry. Well, just to break the monotony, I made a few new pieces of jewelry. And it reminds me how much I love creating and wearing them. I did the Sea Green Chalcedony Set for a customer, a special order, but the other 2 are for me... hehehe. The silver flower I picked up at an estate sale, a vintage piece. I was holding on to it for long time, not knowing what I can create with it. It is so intricately made. I added a cultured pearl in the center. Gives it that "pop" that I was looking for.

New Jewelry

My creative juices were flowing today - I made some new jewelry. I have been so wrapped up with my crochet I forgot how beautiful jewelry can be.
